Tooling Options

Silicone Tooling is utilized for applications which require 1-300 pieces. Depending on size, these tools can be made in 1-3 weeks and provide parts with Flex Modules from 6,000 psi to 1,000,000 psi.

Epoxy Tooling has been developed, built and used here at Troy Tooling & Manufacturing LLC for decades. Through years of development, we have developed the highest quality and longest lasting epoxy tooling in the industry. With our proprietary surfaces coatings, we are capable of providing thousands of parts with no surface degradation. When volumes exceed expectations, tools can be evaluated for refurbishment or do to its inexpensive nature, a second tool can be built thereby preserving your cash flow over the life of the program.

Hybrid Tooling is available for those less comfortable with epoxy tooling of a Class A product or when volumes are higher. With a full aluminum cavity, the hybrid tooling is then married to our epoxy tool core. This hybrid tooling is still far less expensive then conventional tooling since approximately 2/3 of a tools cost is in the core side.

Aluminum Tooling is always available at the customers request or when the volumes dictate this is the least expensive system cost solution. At this point in time, no program that fits into Troy Tooling & Manufacturing LLC’s vision has required steel tools although we are fully capable of running those that have been built.
